Engineering Technician – Documentation & ERP Control

About the role

The Engineering Technician is the production‑facing owner of controlled engineering documentation and ERP master data for heavy‑gauge thermoforming programs. You will ensure that SolidWorks/EPDM specifications and NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, and work order packets are accurate, approved, and up‑to‑date before production release.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and re‑release SolidWorks drawings, layouts, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Maintain EPDM/PDM records, manage redlines, legacy drawing cleanup, and controlled re‑release activities.
• Validate print/release accuracy and distribute production packets to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, work instructions, and packaging instructions.
• Perform BOM and inventory hygiene to ensure work order completeness.
• Administer Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO) and deviations, routing approvals, tracking progress, and ensuring closure.
• Coordinate work order refresh/reprint when ERP data changes occur.
• Participate in daily production cadence and Production Launch Error Proof meetings.

Required profile

• Experience in engineering documentation control and ERP administration within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 document control and traceability requirements.
