Elevator Service Technician

About the role

Otis, a global elevator and escalator manufacturer, installer and service provider, is hiring a service technician in Buenos Aires. The role covers maintenance and emergency calls for the assigned area, with a focus on quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to customers and manage emergency calls and complaints about equipment in the assigned zone, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Carry out repairs and minor customer orders.
• Report anomalies, preventive and corrective work needed on the equipment to the supervisor.
• Submit daily route reports and time records for payment.
• Help resolve technical problems with elevators when required.
• Follow the company's EHS and quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Tertiary, technical or professional degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar.
• At least 1 year of experience in similar roles; experience in multinational companies, elevators or services is ideal.
• Basic English.
• Desirable: experience installing and modernising elevators.

• Ideal knowledge of electronic technologies used in elevators.
• Results orientation, customer orientation, adaptability, communication and teamwork.
