Economics Teacher – AI Training (Postsecondary)

About the role

Alignerr is seeking experienced postsecondary economics instructors to help evaluate and improve AI systems that reason about economic concepts. Your classroom expertise will serve as the benchmark for how AI understands, explains, and applies economics, from introductory micro to advanced applied topics. This is a fully remote, flexible contract that can fit around your existing schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review economics questions and scenarios used to train and evaluate AI systems.
• Assess the accuracy, clarity, and depth of AI‑generated economics content.
• Provide structured, expert feedback to improve economic reasoning in AI model outputs.
• Apply real‑world teaching experience to validate concepts, identify gaps, and catch edge cases.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑time experience teaching economics at the postsecondary level.
• Strong command of core economics topics – microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.
• Ability to clearly articulate and evaluate economic reasoning in written form.
• Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently on task‑based projects.
