Early Career Field Engineering Program (Argentina)

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Emerging Talent Program as a Field Engineer and spend the next 36 months gaining hands‑on experience supporting energy production projects across Argentina. You will act as the primary link between on‑site crews and clients, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained and commissioned to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crew activities, deploy tools and services, and liaise with customers and shore‑based Operations Managers.
• Provide on‑site technical support, troubleshoot complex problems, and assist with equipment installation and start‑up.
• Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment shipments.
• Support tender processes through data analysis, cost estimation and invoicing.
• Participate in job‑shadowing to develop a holistic view of the business.

Required profile

• Graduated or completing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Geosciences or a related field in 2025 (within the last 36 months).
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Argentina without sponsorship.
• Interest in offshore routine work and ability to work effectively in teams.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical‑thinking and numerical abilities.
