Distributed Services Engineer (Active Directory & Infrastructure)

About the role

K-LAGAN is seeking a Distributed Services Engineer to ensure the resilience, security, and scalability of mission‑critical infrastructure and distributed services in a 24x7 secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate distributed services, guaranteeing reliability and production readiness.
• Manage complex Active Directory environments, including multiple forests, trusts, migrations, and convergence.
• Administer core network and identity services such as DNS, DHCP, NPS, Radius, and Certificate Authorities.
• Implement automation and scripting to standardize and simplify environments.
• Monitor security compliance, perform audits, hardening, patching, and support penetration testing.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability through monitoring, alerting, and business continuity processes.
• Provide 24x7x365 on‑call support and collaborate with global squads using a follow‑the‑sun model.

Required profile

• Engineering or technical degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5‑8 years of infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on distributed services such as Active Directory.
• Advanced English (C1) for daily interaction with international teams.
• Proactive mindset with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Active Directory administration, migration, and multi‑forest/trust management.
• DNS, DHCP, NPS, Radius, and Certificate Authority management.
• Scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar).
• Experience with security hardening, patching, and compliance audits.
