DevOps Engineer – Pipelines & Release Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer focused on pipelines and release engineering to join a medical technology project. The role will lead the standardisation of CI/CD and deployments across hybrid Azure and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design reusable Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for .NET APIs, micro‑services and data workloads.
• Standardise build, test and release processes across multiple teams.
• Define release workflows including promotion, approvals and rollback.
• Implement database pipelines for SQL Server and Azure SQL with versioning and migrations.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
• Manage NuGet packages with semantic versioning and dependency handling.
• Govern Terraform modules, state files and versioning.
• Automate hybrid deployments from Azure to on‑premise infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps or release engineering.
• Strong background with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines and templates.
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying .NET applications.
• Solid knowledge of release management and governance practices.
• Deep expertise in Terraform.
• Experience delivering CI/CD for databases.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience handling NuGet repositories.
• Background working in hybrid cloud environments.
