DevOps Engineer – Azure & On-Premise (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with US‑based clients on Azure and on‑premise projects across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain production‑grade Kubernetes clusters on Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and support physical data‑center infrastructure (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Perform Linux system administration, scripting (Python, Bash) and networking setup (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancers).
• Administer databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack) and ensure security hardening (Wazuh, Snyk, SonarQube).
• Plan disaster‑recovery strategies and automate backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, complex systems.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and thrive in Agile/Scrum environments.
