Delayed Coker & Visbreaker Specialist – Permanent Expat Relocation to Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Delayed Coker and Visbreaker Engineering Specialist to join our Operation Engineering Solutions Department. This permanent, full‑time position requires relocation to Saudi Arabia and offers an expatriate relocation package. You will provide expert process engineering and operational support to optimise delayed coker and visbreaker units across our refinery and petrochemical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive performance reviews of existing delayed coker and visbreaker facilities, analysing KPIs related to operability, profitability, reliability and process safety.
• Develop and present quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable improvement recommendations.
• Lead implementation of performance‑improvement initiatives and track measurable results.
• Facilitate best‑practice workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions across global manufacturing sites.
• Provide on‑demand remote and on‑site technical advisory support, including troubleshooting, optimisation, debottlenecking, revamps and upgrades.
• Drive programmes that enhance process safety, reduce manufacturing costs and increase plant reliability.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards and best practices for delayed coker and visbreaker units.
• Support project teams and contractors on engineering and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation and electrical disciplines to ensure optimal integration.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies for unit improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the refinery or petrochemical industry.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on experience with delayed coker and visbreaker units.
• Proven track record of leading performance‑improvement and benchmarking projects.
