Deals Capital Markets - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is hiring a Deals Capital Markets Senior Associate for its Acceleration Center Buenos Aires. The role sits within the Deals practice and advises clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational business events, such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring. It focuses on building client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to mergers, acquisitions and other business transformations
• Advise clients on complex accounting advisory matters and capital markets topics to maximize value in transactions
• Navigate complex transactions and deliver insights on financial structuring and reporting
• Collaborate with clients to develop solutions for capital market engagements and financial modeling
• Develop and maintain client relationships to support strategic advice and transaction structures
• Coordinate project management efforts to ensure timely delivery of client solutions
• Apply knowledge of GAAP and IFRS to advise on financial reporting and regulatory guidelines
• Engage in market analysis to inform recommendations and support client decisions
• Mentor junior team members and understand responsible information management, including information security and data protection

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 3+ years of experience
• Current pursuit of or a Certified Public Accountant license
• Oral and written proficiency in English
