About the role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our remote team. The role focuses on building data pipelines and analytical models using Python and big‑data technologies. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain data processing workflows with Spark/PySpark.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Create and share notebooks in Jupyter/JupyterHub for exploratory analysis.
- Implement CI/CD and DevOps best practices for reproducible data science pipelines.
- Work with Hadoop ecosystems and large‑scale storage solutions.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of commercial experience developing in Python.
- Hands‑on experience with Spark or PySpark and SQL.
- Familiarity with big‑data concepts and Hadoop.
- Practical use of Jupyter or JupyterHub for analysis.
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps processes.
