Cybersecurity Specialist – Incident Response (JSOC)

About the role

Join Questrade Financial Group as a Cybersecurity Specialist focused on Incident Response within the Joint Security Operations Center (JSOC). You will protect the company’s infrastructure and data by detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Support the alert development cycle, including triage and investigation of security alerts.
• Manage the full incident response lifecycle: investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Collect, track, and report metrics related to security incidents.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor support teams to ensure proper use of security tools.
• Work closely with Cybersecurity and IT teams to align priorities and drive new security initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements within the SOC.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex security alerts.
• Experience working in a SOC or similar security operations environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal customers and external vendors.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative fintech environment.
