Cybersecurity Solution Architect

About the role

Join EY's Information Security team as a Cybersecurity Solution Architect, helping protect data and information systems for a global client base. You will lead the design and delivery of cloud security solutions, work with stakeholders across the organization, and drive proof‑of‑concept initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery of Cloud Apps Security, application‑integrated security, and risk‑management solutions.
• Collaborate with policy, compliance, certification, and consulting teams to develop enterprise‑scale solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, assess risks, dependencies, and financial impacts.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept, design, and implementation activities from an architectural perspective.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documents and present them to program teams and governance forums.

Required profile

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in solution architecture.
• 3+ years working in enterprise security architecture.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, SABSA) are preferred.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in GRC, technology risk, cybersecurity risk, and enterprise risk management.
• Hands‑on development with Azure microservices, cloud‑native applications, and enterprise integrations.
• Advanced Archer development, customization, workflow automation, and platform administration.
• Integration experience with Archer, ServiceNow, Azure, and security platforms via APIs and automation.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Data Lake, Machine Learning, and Power BI.
