Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (Associate – L1)

About the role

Join PwC's Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires as an Associate Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (L1). You will support monitoring, detection, and response activities across client environments while building practical cybersecurity experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts across client systems to identify threats and unusual activity.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, document findings, and escalate based on severity.
• Perform initial triage of security tickets, validate symptoms, and route to appropriate response paths.
• Review endpoint, network, and cloud logs to support incident analysis and vulnerability assessments.
• Assist with containment and recovery actions under senior guidance and record case details in ticketing tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in oral and written English.
• Interest or study in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or Management Information Systems.
• Exposure to cybersecurity operations through internships, coursework, or projects.

Required skills

• Security monitoring and incident response concepts.
• Vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Use of ticketing and monitoring tools for case management.
