Customer Ops & Master Data Analyst

About the role

Syngenta is looking for a Customer Operations & Master Data Specialist to join its team in Vicente López, Buenos Aires. The role will ensure reliable execution of customer operations and master‑data management across LATAM South, acting as a bridge between Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, IT and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update customer master records in SAP, Salesforce and other approved systems, including legal entity details, billing and shipping addresses, tax identification, payment terms and commercial attributes.
• Validate incoming requests for completeness, accuracy, consistency, required documentation and approvals before execution.
• Manage customer orders end‑to‑end in SAP, ensuring accurate processing, timely delivery, invoicing support and SLA compliance.
• Monitor backlog, availability and deliveries, proactively coordinating solutions with Commercial, Planning and Logistics.
• Resolve operational issues, discrepancies, returns, complaints and escalations through effective stakeholder communication.
• Contribute to operational reviews, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Economics, Information Systems, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Experience in customer operations, customer service, order management, master data administration or a comparable operational role.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical judgement and ability to manage multiple requests and changing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication in Spanish and English; ability to work effectively across a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
• Lean, Six Sigma, process excellence or project‑management training.
• Knowledge of tax, invoicing or customer data requirements in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
