Customer Billing & Dispute Management Specialist

About the role

The Customer Billing & Dispute Management Specialist plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely handling of billing queries and disputes across the order‑to‑cash cycle. You will work closely with collections, sales, and operations teams to deliver superior service and maintain compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer queries and disputes promptly, following company policies.
• Engage across order‑to‑cash processes, including order management, billing, and collections for the assigned Line of Business.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to outsourced billing and collections teams.
• Identify root‑cause issues, recommend workflow improvements, and ensure quality and compliance standards.
• Communicate effectively with sales leadership, account support, and operations to resolve issues.
• Support new initiatives and ensure successful implementation.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in collections, billing, or dispute management.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to convey difficult messages to sales leadership and propose risk‑mitigating alternatives.
• Proven ability to drive results through virtual or cross‑functional teams.
• High sense of accountability, urgency, and passion for service excellence.
• Collaborative mindset across diverse disciplines.
