Crisis Response Management Agent

About the role

Cognizant is seeking a Crisis Response Management Agent to join its global platform that monitors fast‑developing incidents, including natural and man‑made disasters. You will work in a dynamic, high‑energy environment, reviewing online sources and internal data to provide timely awareness and escalation for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor a variety of internet sources and internal feeds to identify emerging crises and disasters.
• Escalate issues of concern to clients and internal stakeholders with accurate, concise information.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of the team’s output.
• Lead or support communication between stakeholders and supporting teams as needed.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in political science, journalism, digital media, international studies, geography, meteorology, environmental sciences, geology, physics, chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Calm under pressure, able to function well in urgent, developing situations.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in researching and synthesizing information from diverse online sources.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
