Contract Negotiator (FSP)

About the role

The Contract Negotiator will develop and execute global contracting strategies for selected sponsors, studies, or multi‑protocol programs. This role supports start‑up contracting activities and ensures compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop investigator grants, estimates, contracting strategies, and proposal text to support proposal development.
• Maintain contracting systems, tools, and training materials; ensure accurate completion of internal systems such as CTMS.
• Provide legal, operational, and financial contracting support to study teams and facilitate efficient business development.
• Collect, analyse, and disseminate contracting intelligence; report performance metrics and manage out‑of‑scope activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of sponsor or CRO clinical site contracting experience with global or regional exposure.
• Strong negotiating, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and lead/mentor colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email applications.
• Experience using Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Understanding of clinical trial contract management and financial budgeting.
