Concierge and Events Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Concierge and Events Officer to join our shipboard hospitality team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service to VIP guests, loyalty members, and groups, ensuring memorable experiences throughout their voyage.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all guests, with special attention to VIP, loyalty, and concierge clientele.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute group, loyalty, and concierge events for up to 80+ guests, overseeing logistics and stakeholder collaboration.
• Respond promptly and professionally to escalated guest concerns, demonstrating empathy and effective problem‑solving.
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and stock of the concierge lounge, loyalty spaces, and conference rooms to uphold a luxury environment.
• Provide personalized guest services such as transportation, restaurant reservations, spa treatments, shore excursions, flower arrangements, tailoring, and babysitting.
• Lead by example, promoting a calm composure, respect for guests and crew, and adherence to the brand’s service philosophy.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of front‑desk or receptionist experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Proven ability to manage events with 80+ participants.
• Excellent spoken English, clear and courteous.
• Shipboard guest‑service experience is a plus.
