Compliance Officer – Argentina

About the role

Taptap Send is expanding its cross‑border fintech platform into Argentina and needs a senior compliance professional to lead the creation of the new legal entity and its regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support the incorporation of Taptap Send Financial Services Argentina S.A., preparing application materials and coordinating with external counsel.
• Lead registration of the entity as a Proveedor de Servicios de Activos Virtuales (PSAV) with the Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV) under the applicable resolutions.
• Ensure the entity meets obligations as a regulated entity before the Unidad de Información Financiera (UIF), including filing and ongoing reporting.
• Serve as both the Director on the board and the Responsable de Cumplimiento Regulatorio y Control Interno, fulfilling dual compliance mandates.
• Develop and implement internal compliance policies, controls, and monitoring processes from scratch.
• Liaise with Argentine regulators, maintain relationships, and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles within financial services.
• Proven ability to hold a director‑level position in a regulated entity.
• Willingness to be based in Argentina or relocate there.
• Strong understanding of Argentine financial regulations, especially CNV and UIF requirements.
