Compliance Analytics Associate

About the role

Join Blockchain.com as a Compliance Analytics Associate, supporting AML, CTF, sanctions and financial crime frameworks. You will work closely with product and engineering to design and automate compliance processes using cutting‑edge blockchain analytics and AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Use Chainalysis to investigate wallet addresses, transaction histories and exposure to high‑risk entities.
• Define and implement controls for wallet screening, sanctions exposure, mixer activity, high‑risk jurisdictions and other blockchain risk indicators.
• Develop and refine transaction monitoring rules, thresholds and on‑chain risk indicators.
• Ensure travel‑rule compliance by collecting and securely transmitting required sender and receiver data.
• Collaborate with engineering to build automated workflows for alert triage, case management and compliance tooling.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual investigation steps and leverage AI/LLM tools for faster write‑ups and typology research.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in compliance, AML, financial crime, KYC or transaction monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with Chainalysis (including KYT) and blockchain investigations.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to make risk‑based decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, highly organised and able to manage multiple cases.
• Interest or experience using AI/LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot.
