Client Onboarding Associate – KYC Quality Control

About the role

The KYC Associate in the Quality Control team supports Commercial Banking across Latin America by reviewing client onboarding and lifecycle profiles to ensure AML/KYC compliance. The position works in a hybrid model (three days onsite, two days remote) and reports to a KYC Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end reviews of client profiles, validating documentation and assessing risk.
• Apply AML policies and internal procedures, escalating exceptions as needed.
• Identify risk indicators, apply controls, and help prevent fraudulent account behavior.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Internal Controls, Technology, Client Services, and Global Onboarding teams to resolve issues and reduce rework.
• Manage daily priorities, queue management, and meet productivity and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and verbal) with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service, operations, sales, or portfolio management within banking or financial services.
• Experience with AML/KYC processes and knowledge of investment banking practices.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Alteryx, Tableau, Business Intelligence tools, and UiPath.
