Chemical Technologist – Rotating Shifts (Villa Aeroparque)

About the role

Join an expanding food‑exporting industrial company as a Chemical Technologist working in the Quality Control laboratory. The role is ideal for students or recent graduates in chemical technology or related fields who want hands‑on experience in a production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sampling and analytical testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Execute routine analyses during production runs and control critical process points.
• Verify and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Record test results in the appropriate digital platforms.
• Communicate findings and any deviations to the responsible area.
• Check compliance with Good Hygiene Practices on the plant floor.
• Support the maintenance of the company’s quality and food safety standards.

Required profile

• Student or graduate of Chemical Technology, Chemistry, UTEC or a related degree.
• Previous experience in a food‑production plant or industrial setting is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel, for data entry and reporting.
• Willingness to relocate and work weekly rotating shifts (Monday‑Saturday, 8‑hour shifts).
• Analytical, organized and procedure‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a production environment.
