Category Merchant – Amazon & Walmart (Remote)

About the role

LifeSupplyUSA, a fast‑growing e‑commerce retailer of household essentials, is looking for a remote Category Merchant to own and grow a defined block of its catalog, starting with extension cords. You will act as the P&L owner for the category, making data‑driven pricing, inventory, and advertising decisions that protect rank and margin.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the category P&L, including in‑stock rate, contribution margin, TACOS and overall profit.
• Monitor top SKUs daily for competitor pricing, deals, Buy Box status, stock levels and listing health.
• Make pricing adjustments within established rules and apply low‑stock governance to protect rankings.
• Coordinate with forecasting and sourcing teams to maintain high in‑stock discipline for core winners.
• Optimize listing quality (titles, images, A+ content, variations, pack configurations).
• Decide on liquidation of end‑of‑life or slow‑moving inventory.
• Expand successful SKUs to Walmart, Shopify and Canadian marketplaces.
• Document SOPs and decision trees to ensure scalability.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing an Amazon Seller Central account, preferably with category or P&L ownership.
• Deep understanding of Amazon fees, FBA economics, Buy Box dynamics and pricing calculations.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to act autonomously.
• Comfort using Helium 10 (or similar) and advanced spreadsheet tools.
