Caregiver (Personal Care Assistant)

About the role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide hands‑on support to residents in an assisted‑living environment. As a Personal Care Assistant you will help maintain dignity, safety, and independence while building meaningful relationships with seniors each day.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document any changes in condition.
• Promote a safe, dignified, and independent living environment.
• Engage residents through conversation, daily activities, and memory‑care enrichment.
• Support dining services and keep the living area clean and welcoming.
• Communicate effectively with families, care leaders, and the broader care team.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• Compassionate, reliable, and strong communication skills.
