About the role
We are seeking a Buyer who will act as the bridge between planning and procurement, ensuring that demand forecasts are translated into effective purchasing actions. The role combines elements of supply‑chain coordination with hands‑on supplier management.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with planning teams to understand demand, forecasts and priorities.
- Convert planning inputs into clear purchasing actions and purchase orders.
- Identify, evaluate and manage suppliers, leading technical and commercial RFQs.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times and contract terms with suppliers.
- Provide feedback to planning on supplier capacity, cost and feasibility constraints.
- Ensure that planned production can be executed by aligning supplier capabilities with demand.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist.
- Exposure to planning, forecasting or supply‑chain coordination.
- Understanding of lead times, demand planning and stock level concepts.
- Comfortable working with both data analysis and supplier relationships.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
- Fluent English for an international work environment.
- Preferably a candidate who can challenge planning inputs based on real‑world supplier constraints.
