BIM & Automation Director

About the role

Slantis is seeking a BIM & Automation Director to shape and execute the long‑term roadmap for its BIM and automation practice. This senior leader will define strategic direction, elevate standards, and drive adoption across the organization and the broader AEC industry.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the BIM & Automation service direction, offering evolution, and long‑term roadmap.
• Elevate knowledge standards across all workstreams and ensure consistent adoption throughout Slantis.
• Maintain and grow the internal knowledge portal, making it current, useful, and accessible to the entire team.
• Curate emerging innovations, formalize validated approaches into practice standards, and create reusable delivery assets.
• Develop onboarding content, career paths, and role definitions to reduce ramp‑up time and foster continuous learning.
• Coach technical leads and directors, building autonomous leaders capable of strategic and professional growth.
• Represent Slantis externally through events, publications, and industry conversations, establishing technical authority and deepening client relationships.
• Partner with Marketing to produce practice‑aligned content that positions Slantis as a thought leader.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading BIM and automation initiatives within the AEC sector.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to define and execute long‑term roadmaps.
• Demonstrated ability to build and share knowledge systems across large, distributed teams.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement, industry representation, and internal mentorship.
