About the role

Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving. We are looking for a Mid‑/Senior Backend Engineer who writes clean, maintainable Java code, ships fast using TDD, DDD and continuous integration.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement mobile APIs and microservices.
Maintain and evolve core systems such as risk management, fraud detection and payment processing.
Focus on greenfield development while improving existing services.

Required profile

Fluency with Java and at least 4 years of backend development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
Quick learner with an ambitious, results‑driven attitude.
Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
Fluent English.

Required skills

Java (version 17/21).
Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes.
PostgreSQL, Redis.
Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic.
Spock, jOOQ, Flyway.
