AWS Cloud Engineer - Data

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the Market Data Services team at JPMorgan Chase. The role focuses on delivering third‑party market data through cloud‑based data platforms that support business analytics, AI/ML and other critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS EKS clusters using Terraform.
• Configure and maintain monitoring solutions (Datadog, CloudWatch, Dynatrace) for cloud environments.
• Extract, transform and load third‑party data into AWS databases.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the risk profile of market‑data applications in line with cyber‑security controls.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and two‑week sprint cycles.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS EKS and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• Deep familiarity with Docker containerisation.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as Lambda, Neptune and Glue.
• Solid SQL skills for Oracle and No‑SQL DSL for ElasticSearch.
• Proven experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, CloudWatch or Dynatrace.
