Associate Project Services Manager – Clinical Trials & Labs

About the role

IQVIA Laboratories is looking for an Associate Project Services Manager to lead laboratory aspects of clinical trial projects in Argentina. You will act as the primary point of contact from award through start‑up, maintenance, and close‑out, ensuring high‑quality, customer‑focused execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned clinical‑trial laboratory projects from award through close‑out, applying protocol requirements.
• Lead study set‑up activities, including protocol and budget review, start‑up meetings, and implementation of project and risk‑management plans.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, metrics and budgets; perform trend analysis, manage scope changes and change orders.
• Serve as the single point of contact for sponsors, handling communications, meetings, issue triage and escalation.
• Drive timely, customer‑focused problem solving and coordinate cross‑functional resources to remove study obstacles.
• Oversee development and maintenance of protocol‑specific laboratory instructional documents and specifications.
• Support proposal development, bid defence preparation, and creation of sponsor‑specific standards and procedures.
• Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across projects and programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in clinical trials, hospital‑funded research, or a laboratory environment.
• 2+ years of project‑management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comparable company systems.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal and client‑management abilities.
• Experience with Lab Trial Management Systems (LTMS).
• Excellent organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English, including clinical‑research terminology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment and build effective working relationships.
