Associate Medical Director – Nephrology

About the role

The Associate Medical Director – Nephrology will provide medical, clinical and scientific advisory expertise across IQVIA divisions. This home‑based position supports trial delivery, medical monitoring and strategic business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Global/Regional Medical Advisor on assigned projects, offering scientific guidance to project leaders.
• Provide medical support to investigative sites, reviewing protocols, IDBs, CRFs and clarifying adverse events.
• Develop medically sound delivery strategies for multi‑region studies and contribute to client proposals, including budgeting for medical monitoring.
• Participate in business development presentations and stay current on industry developments.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an internationally recognized school with a Nephrology certification (mandatory).
• 3‑5 years of experience in clinical medicine and prior clinical research experience as an investigator or in pharma, CRO or biotech.
• Strong knowledge of federal and local regulations governing clinical research.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in English.
