Area Sales Manager – Buses

About the role

The Area Sales Manager for Buses will support the commercial development of Volvo's bus sales plan in Argentina, ensuring an integrated business management approach with a focus on customer and fleet development.

Key responsibilities

• Daily contact with dealers and internal company areas to drive sales.
• Weekly monitoring of fleet customer portfolio and monthly tracking of retail commercial operations.
• Develop and execute action plans to acquire new customers.
• Handle customer and dealer complaints, propose improvements, and document processes.
• Regular visits to local bodybuilders to identify commercial opportunities and coordinate activities with Volvo engineering.
• Track production progress with Brazil and coordinate with local stakeholders.

Required profile

• Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in automotive, heavy industry, construction or industrial machinery.
• Intermediate English (required) and Portuguese (desired).
• Willingness to travel 2–3 times per month, especially to Rosario.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft 365 tools: Excel, PowerPoint (required), Power BI (desired).
• Knowledge of financial tools and basic heavy‑vehicle mechanics.
