Architectural Designer – Mid/Senior

About the role

Gensler is seeking an Architectural Designer to lead design development and coordination for vertical residential, mixed‑use, commercial and workplace projects. You will work closely with a Design Director, shaping concepts and guiding them through delivery with autonomy and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with design and delivery of architectural and technical aspects of projects.
• Prepare accurate technical documents, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, fabricators and regulatory agencies.
• Lead design development and coordination across assigned project types.
• Support communication between project team, clients, vendors and permitting officials.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design (or foreign equivalent) with 5‑10 years of professional experience.
• Experience in vertical residential, mixed‑use, commercial and workplace projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods and structural systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Illustrator, Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Autodesk certification (preferred).
