Architect Team Lead – Senior Project Team Leader (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architect Team Lead to head construction project teams on a variety of residential and commercial developments across Florida. This full‑time remote position will own project delivery from schematic design through construction documents, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project teams for multifamily residential, condominiums, office buildings, medical facilities, car dealerships and other commercial typologies.
• Manage the drafting workstream and oversee 3D modeling and construction‑document set production across all design phases.
• Prepare permit sets for local authority submission and CD packages for General Contractors.
• Review and resolve redlines during schematic design (SD) and construction document (CD) phases.
• Identify, assess and proactively manage project risks, escalating and proposing solutions as needed.
• Coordinate design, engineering and construction teams to track progress, deliverables and deadlines.
• Maintain clear project records and reporting using standard tools and workflows.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
• Create QA/QC workflows to guarantee project quality and continuous improvement.
• Drive team productivity and rapid ramp‑up to meet fast‑paced deadlines.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project management, team leadership or coordination within the construction industry.
• Proven track record delivering projects across multiple building typologies (multifamily, condominiums, offices, medical facilities, car dealerships, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete, wood framing and steel framing systems.
• Strong project and task management, risk management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities to align diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, teams and deadlines simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of construction processes and the full project lifecycle from SD through CD.
• Capability to work remotely and lead distributed teams effectively.
