Android Developer – Long‑term Contract in Buenos Aires

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a long‑term contract in Buenos Aires. You will be responsible for building high‑quality mobile applications that deliver great user experiences and meet business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Create responsive UI with Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs, handling JSON parsing with Retrofit/OkHttp.
• Apply MVVM/MVC/MVP architecture patterns and use Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, WorkManager.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues; write unit and UI tests.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
• Publish and maintain apps on Google Play Store.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern development practices.
• Experience with MVVM architecture and Jetpack libraries.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a cross‑functional team.
