Analyst Engineer Assistant Director

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services is seeking an Analyst Engineer – Assistant Director to lead application engineering projects within Enterprise Technology. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions for a global user base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical deliverables of projects, coordinating with project managers and resourcing teams.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET‑based solutions, ensuring robust, high‑performance code.
• Lead a global application engineering team, mentoring staff and overseeing remote and local resources.
• Apply Agile and Application Engineering methodologies, driving best practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in application design/development, with a strong track record of delivering complex solutions.
• Proactive problem‑solver who anticipates risks and defines effective mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at global levels.

Required skills

• .NET (C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Windows Services)
• MS SQL Server (stored procedures, views, functions, T‑SQL)
• Client web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, NodeJS, Angular, HTTP REST)
• Azure DevOps environment
• Reporting tools (Power BI, Power Query, SSRS)
• SharePoint (Server Object Model, JSOM/CSOM, SharePoint REST API, PHA, SHA)
