Actuarial Services - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring a Senior Associate in Actuarial Services within its Risk and Compliance practice. You will analyze and manage financial risks for clients using actuarial methods, statistical modeling and data analysis, helping them make informed decisions on risk and control. The role involves managing workstreams, mentoring juniors and building client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client risk exposures through actuarial modeling, statistical analysis and financial data review
• Develop and validate risk models supporting forecasting, pricing, reserving and capital planning
• Interpret model outputs and turn them into clear recommendations for client decisions and controls
• Apply actuarial methods, statistical software and data mining techniques to solve complex technical problems
• Review assumptions, source data and model inputs to improve analytical accuracy
• Support client engagements by organizing workstreams, tracking deliverables and adapting to changing priorities
• Collaborate with senior team members and guide junior team members through technical tasks and reviews
• Communicate findings in presentations and written materials suited to client needs
• Monitor regulatory and professional requirements affecting actuarial analyses and risk reporting
• Ensure responsible information management, including information security and data protection

Required profile

• Graduated or pursuing an Actuarial Science degree, with at least 80% of the university degree completed
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written English proficiency
