Activities Assistant – Full-Time

About the role

Del Rosa Post Acute is looking for an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to create meaningful experiences that support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well‑being of our residents. You will work directly with seniors, encouraging participation and fostering a vibrant community atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering daily activity programs, including games, crafts, exercise, music, and social events.
• Lead group activities and provide one‑on‑one support for residents who need individualized attention.
• Coordinate community outings, special events, and holiday decorations.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
• Maintain activity calendars, attendance logs, and required documentation.
• Ensure all activities are safe, respectful, and inclusive.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, customer service, healthcare, or senior living (preferred).
• Compassionate, energetic, and resident‑focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
