Accounting Manager

About the role

Rova Partners is a fast‑growing accounting firm serving a diverse portfolio of US‑based clients. As an Accounting Manager you will lead a team of Associates and Senior Associates, own senior client relationships, and help shape the processes that scale with our growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Associates and Senior Associates, set expectations, conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of accountability.
• Oversee the full US accounting cycle – month‑end and year‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Serve as the senior relationship owner for a portfolio of US clients, handling escalations, strategic conversations and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Identify workflow gaps, define quality‑control checkpoints and drive initiatives to standardise and improve team processes.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on US accounting experience with the ability to manage complexity independently.
• Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Track record of owning client relationships end‑to‑end and handling escalations professionally.

Required skills

• Deep proficiency with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements.
