Accounting Instructor – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking experienced accounting instructors to help shape how artificial intelligence understands financial concepts. Your expertise will directly influence the accuracy and reliability of AI systems trained on accounting principles, impacting real‑world business and finance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate accounting questions, explanations, and worked examples used in AI training.
• Assess the accuracy of core concepts such as financial statements, bookkeeping, managerial accounting, and internal controls.
• Identify errors, edge cases, misleading explanations, and logical inconsistencies.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback to improve the precision and clarity of AI‑generated content.
• Work independently and asynchronously to complete task‑based assignments on your own schedule.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience teaching accounting at the post‑secondary level.
• Strong command of both financial and managerial accounting principles.
• Ability to critically evaluate written quantitative and rule‑based reasoning.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and reliable when working independently.
• Nice to have: CPA designation or a Master’s degree in Accounting, hands‑on experience with audits or financial analysis, familiarity with AI model evaluation or data annotation workflows.
