Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring an Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst within its Internal Firm Services practice. The role manages financial records, analyzes data and helps clients comply with accounting standards, while also supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. It is a specialist position focused on deep technical analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
• Manage financial records and confirm compliance with accounting standards
• Support budgeting and forecasting to optimize financial performance
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations
• Apply accounting policies and collaborate with teams on reporting challenges
• Use financial accounting skills to manage risk and engage in continuous learning
• Follow responsible information management, including information security and data protection

Required profile

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent degree
• At least 1 year of experience
• Background in general accounting (closings, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals or general ledgers) rather than AP/AR
• Oral and written English proficiency
• Interest in digital tools, automations and process improvement
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting & Technology or Management Information Systems
• Preferred: CPA, CISA, CFE or CIA certification
