Accounting Analyst – Financial Reporting

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will own the financial reporting of key metrics for assigned assets, supporting both business‑unit and corporate management. The role involves forecasting, variance analysis, and explaining performance deviations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes for budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Report asset performance against earnings, cash flow, CAPEX and OPEX targets and provide analysis of actual results versus targets.
• Conduct a comprehensive monthly financial outlook review.
• Collaborate with corporate departments on complex transaction accounting.
• Develop scenario analyses and financial models.
• Partner with the Planning team to prepare the Business Plan.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports requested by business‑unit management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting or business analysis.
• Strong ability to translate business processes into financial impact.
• Intermediate knowledge of financial reporting concepts such as P&L, variance analysis and accounting principles.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
