About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join Syneos Health’s finance team. The role supports the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes and ensures our financial records comply with global policies, US GAAP and applicable local standards.

Key responsibilities

Assist with accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year‑end close.
Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley internal control objectives and maintain process documentation.
Prepare detailed journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
Perform intercompany account reconciliations and related journal entries.
Analyze expenses for correct coding, accrual adequacy and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with General Ledger teams and participate in cross‑functional projects.
