Account Manager – Remote (US Region)

About the role

VectorBuilder is seeking a motivated Account Manager to work remotely from Argentina, focusing on the US market. You will grow existing customer accounts and build long‑lasting relationships across academia, pharma, and biotech.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales within the designated US territory.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers.
• Communicate via email, phone, video calls, webinars, and virtual conferences to promote VectorBuilder offerings.
• Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and services.
• Cultivate strong, long‑lasting client relationships.
• Collaborate with sales representatives from other territories to share best practices.
• Provide high‑level technical support in partnership with internal departments.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Required profile

• Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related field (Ph.D. highly preferred).
• High self‑motivation, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• DNA cloning techniques.
• Virus packaging experience.
• General molecular biology laboratory methods.
• Familiarity with HubSpot (optional).

What we offer

• Base salary of $30,000 USD per year plus commission.
