Account Manager

About the role

VectorBuilder is seeking a remote Account Manager based in Argentina to grow and maintain relationships with customers in the US academic, pharma and biotech sectors. You will act as the primary point of contact for existing accounts, promote the company’s gene‑delivery solutions and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales within the designated US territory.
• Serve as the main contact for existing customers, answering queries about features, pricing and services.
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, video calls, webinars and virtual conferences.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting client relationships.
• Collaborate with sales teams across territories to share best practices.
• Provide high‑level technical support by working closely with internal departments.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• High self‑motivation, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• DNA cloning techniques.
• Virus packaging experience.
• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (a plus).
