Total Rewards Specialist – Compensation Expert

About the role

The Total Rewards Specialist will join Chevron's Business Support Center in Buenos Aires, supporting the Total Rewards team in delivering compensation expertise to internal stakeholders worldwide. This role focuses on market data analysis, salary planning, job evaluation and the implementation of new compensation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for compensation activities, including market data analysis, salary planning, job analysis and position evaluations.
• Support the Total Rewards Center of Expertise with analytics for new program creation.
• Serve as escalation point for complex employee compensation queries, resolving issues or forwarding them to the CoE.
• Transfer compensation knowledge within the Service Center for existing and new initiatives.
• Network with HR practitioners across industries for benchmarking and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of HR experience with a focus on Total Rewards and compensation.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with HR Information Systems.
• Highly proficient English with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and customer‑service orientation.
