Social-First Content Strategist for Founder’s Personal Brand

About the role

We are seeking a highly creative, execution‑focused Content Strategist to own and grow the personal brand of a fast‑growing DTC founder. Working directly with the founder, you will plan, produce, edit, distribute, and optimise short‑form and long‑form content across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and email newsletters.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage a weekly content calendar across all social platforms and newsletters.
• Lead weekly filming sessions, including scripting, shot planning and direction.
• Repurpose transcripts, calls, podcasts and videos into engaging short‑form pieces.
• Edit short‑form video using CapCut, Edits or similar tools.
• Coordinate freelance editors for long‑form YouTube production.
• Write and distribute weekly newsletters via Beehiiv, ConvertKit or Substack.
• Schedule and publish content, optimizing thumbnails, captions, hooks, titles and metadata.
• Monitor performance metrics and iterate based on analytics and trends.
• Engage with comments and direct messages on behalf of the founder.
• Utilise AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT for ideation, repurposing and workflow efficiency.
• Help improve AI‑assisted content systems and workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience managing content or social media for a founder, creator, agency or operator‑led brand.
• Strong understanding of short‑form trends on TikTok, Reels, Shorts and X.
• Excellent writing skills for LinkedIn posts, X threads and newsletters.
• Hands‑on short‑form editing experience with CapCut, Edits or similar software.
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
• Highly organised, self‑managed and able to execute with minimal supervision.
