Senior E‑commerce Accountant

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing connected‑fitness equipment brand that sells through direct‑to‑consumer e‑commerce, retail partners and commercial accounts. They need a senior accountant to own day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, AP, AR, inventory, treasury support and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full AP cycle in NetSuite, reconcile vendor statements, execute payment runs and maintain accurate aging.
• Own invoicing, cash application and collections across direct‑to‑consumer, retail and commercial channels; communicate with U.S. customers and resolve unapplied payments.
• Lead month‑end close: prepare accruals, journal entries, reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and produce reconciliation packages.
• Record inventory receipts, calculate landed costs (freight, customs duties, tariffs), reconcile inventory sub‑ledgers and support cycle counts.
• Support treasury and reporting: prepare borrowing‑base certificates, track covenant compliance, maintain cash forecasts and daily cash position reports.
• Handle operational finance tasks such as expense report processing, corporate card coding, vendor onboarding and master‑data maintenance in NetSuite.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Full‑cycle accounting experience with proven month‑end close ownership.
• Hands‑on inventory accounting in a physical‑product business (manufacturing, distribution, e‑commerce).
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or comparable mid‑market ERP).
