Accountant (QuickBooks & US GAAP) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant with 2‑3 years of experience to join our fully remote finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation, advanced QuickBooks expertise, and excellent English communication skills to work directly with native‑speaking stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and perform routine bank reconciliations using QuickBooks.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, preparing trial balances, journal entries, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Identify process improvements and automate accounting workflows.
• Maintain internal controls, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Serve as the primary financial contact for cross‑border teams, presenting figures clearly.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in an international or US‑based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Self‑starter with high autonomy, strong problem‑solving attitude, and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
