Senior Data Team Lead

About the role

The Senior Data Team Lead will independently manage end‑to‑end delivery of data management services for single or multi‑service clinical projects. This role ensures high‑quality deliverables are produced on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of customers while complying with Good Clinical Practices and regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on data management deliverables.
• Lead multiple large global studies or programs, providing senior support to other Data Team Leads.
• Manage project planning, execution, financials, communications, and milestone tracking.
• Negotiate timelines, budgets, and resources with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Data Operations teams to ensure milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
• Oversee creation, review, and sign‑off of Data Management Plans (DMPs) and ensure compliance with contracts and SOWs.
• Implement proactive quality management and drive continuous service improvements.
• Escalate and resolve complex data issues, working with client data managers, vendors, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Clinical Data Management (CDM) and delivery of data services.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large, global study programs.
• Strong client‑facing abilities and experience negotiating contracts and timelines.
• Excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
