Senior Data Engineer – BI

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and scale the data infrastructure that powers our machine‑learning platform for global consumer brands. You will build robust, cost‑efficient pipelines and enable production‑ready models that drive growth across our e‑commerce portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and scale advanced ETL pipelines using modern big‑data technologies.
• Design resilient data frameworks covering extraction, transformation and ML modeling.
• Lead development of Airflow‑driven workflows and optimize large‑scale datasets and complex SQL queries.
• Operationalize machine‑learning models in batch and real‑time environments.
• Improve cost‑efficiency and scalability across the AWS ecosystem.
• Elevate data‑quality standards through governance and monitoring systems.
• Build internal data tools for Marketing Science and Analytics teams.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or ML Engineer in production.
• Systems‑level thinker focused on scalability, cost‑efficiency and precision.
• Strong commitment to performance, reliability, quality and thorough documentation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS services: S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, EC2, RDS, EMR, VPC, ECS/EKS.
• Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Python (object‑oriented programming).
• Advanced SQL optimization.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab).
• Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS, ECR).
